The Vermont Envirothon focuses on Vermont’s environmental issues related to forestry, wildlife, soils and water resources. The program provides an opportunity for in-class activities and hands-on field experiences which culminate each May with a day long Vermont Envirothon event. The Envirothon is a fun way for high school age students to learn about the natural world around them. Students will also learn to recognize the importance of science-based investigations in helping to resolve environmental issues.
