Meet the Grand Isle County Team
Molly grew up in the suburbs of New York City, graduated from Syracuse University’s business school, and set down roots in Manhattan, where she launched a career in marketing in Times Square. After five years in the concrete jungle she craved the peace and tranquility only nature can provide, and was drawn to Charleston, South Carolina to pursue a passion for animal welfare in the veterinary field. It was during this time that her family relocated to Vermont and a desire to trade the Atlantic beaches for the Green Mountains took shape. So began a journey that would upend her life and enable her to join efforts to conserve the beauty of Vermont, a landscape she has grown to love. Envisioning her passion for animal welfare on a more macro level, she enrolled in a Johns Hopkins University master’s program in environmental sciences and policy. While enrolled, she built her resume in environmental education, modeling responsible stewardship to younger generations through local nonprofits in Maryland. With one course left in her curriculum, she is now, finally, proudly calling Vermont home. Molly is grateful to be the Project Manager for Grand Isle County preserving its unique landscape and the wonders of Lake Champlain.
