Resources on Racial Equity in Conservation
VACD recognizes that racial equity and environmental justice need to be at the forefront of our work in conservation. Many of us at VACD are grappling with the impacts systemic racism and racial inequity have on our organization, our work, and the communities we are a part of. VACD is currently working on actionable steps and changes we will make towards racial equity in our organization. We invite you to explore resources our staff has found helpful as we work towards greater racial equity in conservation. If you have suggestions, additional resources to share, or are interested in partnering with us, please contact us.
